A Stunning Transformation

The bones of the this north Tacoma house were great! The location was great! However, the floor plan and the condition of the house needed to be addressed. The plumbing and electrical were both outdated and failing. The roof was about to fail and the exterior elevation had challenges with weird siding and windows.

Because of the location, we were able to address everything and bring this home up to modern specifications and layout. We could envision a family living here and enjoying this what would become beautiful home and short walks down to the water.

Keeping functionality in mind for a small family, we decided to combine two spaces to create a master suite. The master suite now has a beautiful two sink vanity with quartz counter and backsplash and tub/shower with a bench and tile surround. We still left two good size bedrooms, a full laundry room and an updated hall bathroom.

The walls were opened up and a built in fireplace was installed. The kitchen and dining space were also opened up more to have a more inviting space for a family to enjoy. In the kitchen, we added all new white shaker style cabinets, new quartz countertops with subway tile backsplash, new chrome hardware and plumbing fixtures and all new stainless appliances.

On the exterior, we put on a new roof, changed the look on front of house by changing windows and adding new siding with shingles and chair rail.

We gave this home a fresh new look and feel ready for a new family to call home!
