North 39th: From One Home to Three in North Tacoma
There are some projects that feel especially meaningful—and our North 39th project is one of them.
Located in North Tacoma, this property gave us the opportunity to do something new for our team. We acquired a quaint, single-family home and reimagined the entire space from the inside out. Along with a full renovation of the main home, we added two Detached Accessory Dwelling Units (DADUs) to the back of the lot.
What was once a single, modest home is now three thoughtfully designed residences—each created to offer a beautiful, functional place for someone to call their own.

With North 39th, our goal was to create homes that feel intentional, comfortable, and connected to the surrounding neighborhood. Each residence was designed with livability in mind, making them a great fit for a variety of homeowners—from young couples to those looking to downsize without sacrificing quality or location.

Every detail—from layout to materials—was considered to ensure each home feels complete in its own right. Whether in the main home or the DADUs, the goal was consistency in quality and design, so no matter which home someone chooses, they’re stepping into a space that feels intentional and well cared for.

This was our first project of this kind—taking on not only a full home renovation, but also developing multiple residences on a single property.
