Hilltop DADU
We’re so grateful that this client entrusted us with building their DADU. As a Seattle resident, he saw the potential in the Tacoma market and decided to invest in the Hilltop neighborhood. After remodeling the main house, he contracted us to build this charming DADU in the backyard, creating two rental units that not only generate passive income but could also be sold as individual homes once the Home in Tacoma initiative is adopted.
We created this 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom DADU complete with clean modern finishes on the inside, and a charming, almost craftsman-like exterior to blend with his existing house and the Tacoma neighborhood.
We constructed a fence around the DADU to create a sense of privacy and individualism for each tenant. Additionally, there is plenty of parking available for all!
The best news of all is that he was able to rent out his DADU right away and has about a 10% return on investment. Wow!
