North Mullen DADU

This North Tacoma DADU was a great fit from the start. Our client already had many of the things that make a property well-suited for a detached accessory dwelling unit, including a good-sized backyard, alley access, and existing utilities ready to support a new backyard home.

She chose our Baltimore DADU plan, a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom design with approximately 705 square feet of living space. The efficient layout makes the most of the available space while providing a comfortable, fully functional home.

For the finishes, our client chose a beautiful combination of modern and functional materials that give the space a clean, inviting feel. The finished DADU is a great example of how a backyard can be transformed into a thoughtfully designed home that adds both function and value to a Tacoma property.

The original plan was to use the DADU as a rental, but after seeing the finished space, our client loved it so much that she’s now considering moving in herself!

We’re pretty sure that’s one of the best compliments a new DADU can get.
