What Sets Us Apart as a Builder and Developer
People often ask what sets us apart as a developer and remodeler. The answer isn’t a sales pitch — it’s the path that led us here.
Our company was founded in 2014, and for years we focused on building and remodeling homes for our clients throughout the South Puget Sound. But in 2018, we took on our first major personal remodel. Experiencing the construction process from the homeowner’s side changed our perspective in a profound way.
We lived through the dust, the decision fatigue, the budget conversations, and the endless small details that suddenly feel very big when it’s your own home. It deepened our understanding of how personal a home project truly is. It also reinforced just how important clear communication, thoughtful planning, and attention to detail are throughout the entire process.
A few years later, we built a custom home for our own family. When you’re designing and building a home you plan to live in every day, every decision carries more weight. We thought carefully about layout, functionality, materials, and long-term durability. We paid attention to the kinds of details that might go unnoticed in a typical build — because we knew we would live with those choices ourselves.
More recently, we’ve begun developing and building multifamily properties that we hold for our own family long-term. That experience has added another layer to how we approach construction. When you’re building something you plan to own and maintain yourself, you naturally think about longevity, maintenance, and long-term performance. Quality matters even more when the responsibility for the building stays with you.
All of these experiences shape how we approach every project today.
We understand what it feels like to be the homeowner. We understand the emotional investment, the financial commitment, and the level of trust it takes to bring a construction team into your home.
That’s why we approach every remodel, custom home, DADU, and development as if it were our own. We hold our work to the same standard we expect for our family — because that’s exactly how we learned to build.
We’re grateful for the trust our clients place in us, and it’s something we never take lightly. Take a trip down memory lane with us below:
