A Behind-the-Scenes Look at Our In-House Design Process
Building, remodeling, or adding a DADU to your home comes with a lot of decisions.
Cabinet colors. Countertops. Flooring. Tile. Plumbing fixtures. Lighting. Paint. Hardware. And somehow, all of those individual choices need to work together to create one cohesive home.
That’s where our in-house design team comes in. Whether you’re remodeling your existing home or building a new DADU, we wanted to give you a behind-the-scenes look at what the design process looks like with our designers, Mitzi and Lindsay.
Making Selections Easier
We have our own in-house showroom with flooring, cabinets, countertops, paint, and hardware choices all in one place. This makes it easier to compare options, see how selections work together, and streamline the decision-making process.
If you need more options, we also have great relationships with suppliers throughout our community and will happily take you along to explore additional selections. Our designers talk through options, help narrow things down, and make sure each decision fits within the bigger picture—and your budget.
See Your Design Before It’s Built
One of the most valuable parts of working with our designers is being able to see your selections come together before they’re installed.
Our design assistant, Lindsay, creates detailed 3D renderings that bring your ideas to life. Instead of trying to imagine how your cabinets, countertops, flooring, tile, and fixtures will look together, you can see a visual of the space before construction begins.
This is especially helpful for DADU projects, where you’re making design decisions for an entirely new space. The renderings help you see how everything will work together and make decisions with confidence.
Does the countertop work with the cabinets? Does the flooring complement the tile? Do the fixtures fit the overall style?
Our designers help make sure all those individual choices come together into one cohesive design.
